In 2019, Hitachi and production company Siouxx reached out to develop a film that mused on the development of artificial intelligence, the human duality, and the relationship possibilities between human and A.I. in a surrealistic light. We drew inspiration from many science fiction film references in an effort to contrast dark and light -- creation to destruction -- and guide the film with an empathetic, beating heart at its core.
