At Impossible Objects, we rely on virtual production and Unreal Engine to bring stories to life. We have all come from over a decade of working together in live action production, and have found virtual production to truly be the future of manifesting the largest concepts a mind can dream of. In a previous life, we were Directors, Cinematographers, and Producers of productions for the best of the traditional means of production. Just ask any of our prior clients. Apple / Nasa
"Visions of Harmony"
VISUAL EFFECTS / ANIMATION / CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT
In anticipation of the satellite Juno reaching Jupiter, the team at Apple Music reached out -- they were developing a secret project with Nasa to help celebrate its arrival on July 4th. They wanted to craft a film that explored the evident relationship between art, music and science. Our creative team developed a creative concept that observed the many different instances of a single shape in nature -- the circle.
Through visual effects, animation, and practical fusion, our team brought prior Nasa space missions to life, as well as portrayed futuristic missions that haven't happened yet. Our team also hand crafted surrealistic portraitures of nebulae as well as modeled lifelike renditions of the Juno satellite, International Space Station, among other famous spacecraft, re-invigorating a sense of wonder and awe of space exploration for our audience.
Hitachi
"Duality"
VISUAL EFFECTS / ANIMATION / CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT
Hitachi and production company Siouxx reached out to develop a film that mused on the development of artificial intelligence, the human duality, and the relationship possibilities between human and A.I. in a surrealistic light. We drew inspiration from many science fiction film references in an effort to contrast dark and light -- creation to destruction -- and guide the film with an empathetic, beating heart at its core.
